Client Objective
To produce a new town map in the style of the popular Huddersfield map which is controlled by the same council. The client opted for an irregular border for two reasons, first cost it meant that outlying residential buildings not that important to wayfinding in the town centre could be omitted from the map. Secondly it left more space around the map for addition of interest site photographs on the signage
Production Comment
Very straightforward job, one set of proofs before supplying. An early extract of the map was supplied to denote the Heritage Initiative Area in a council document.
Usage
Signage and various council documentation
Testimonial
It looks really good and you know other departments are already using it. Thanks for your help Anne-Marie Parker, Kirklees Council
