WELCOME TO OUR GALLERY OF CLIENT’S MAPPING

We offer five primary mapping styles, as well as our library of London maps, which can be overlaid with client information.

Maps based upon an axonometric plane* are referred to as 3D and offered in two versions Modern and the hand-drawn Classic style. The 3D Modern, a more realistic rendition, designed by the Silvermaze duo of Derek Reed & Nick Hawken, a style quickly adopted by other mapping companies.

Our maps are created on layers with the option to display/print only those layers required for a particular project. Hence you can quickly turn a visitor guide to say a restaurant guide.

In giving advice one client remarked “you have answered questions I didn’t know existed”.

*Axonometric plan?

Axonometric maps commonly known as 3D are not  new. Above is an extract of a 16th centuary copperplate engraved by Martin Van Valkenborgh circa 1556, London’s first printed map. It was said over some 450 years later by the Independent Newspaper that Silvermaze’s map of  central London was “the finest example of 21st century 3D mapping.”
